This page is a review of my learning process and work direction throughout the semester. At the beginning of the semester, we learned the basic knowledge. After that, we began to learn how to analyze specific movies, such as Beauty and the Beast, and began to try to select movies for analysis by ourselves. After analyzing multiple movies, articles and podcasts, I found the topic I wanted to discuss. And finally wrote my own article.
1. Planning and Exploratory Writing
This excerpt is my exploratory writing about Killing Us Softly 4. Through the exploratory writing of this speech, I learned about the society's norms for women's appearance. This is also one of the foundations for me to establish my own discussion articles.
And the other comment is my comment on the movie Beauty and the Beast. By annotating this movie, I learned how to annotate the movie. And began to learn how to analyze a movie. These two excerpts allowed me to achieve Understand the importance of having a process when you are composing a sophisticated text.
2. Peer Review
This peer review is about my peer review of the film of Beauty and the Beast. I chose this note as the best note I received because he not only picked out the note he thought I was the best in this note, but also provided me with another way of thinking.
I choose this peer review as the best peer review I have given. Because of this peer review, I started to think about the topic of my podcast project and final paper, which is whether the positioning of female roles has changed. Through peer review, I achieved the course goal Practice collaboration.
3. Self Review
This part of Self Review is where I am checking my references to the movie scenes in the article. Through inspection, I found that I focused on movie characters but lacked specific scenes. This made me decide to adjust the structure of the article to include a specific scene in the movie in a paragraph.
This part of the self-review is about checking my references to my own auxiliary resources. Through this part of inspection, I found that I used too many auxiliary resources in a paragraph. So I decided to change the structure of the article. This is in line with the course goal Understand the importance of reflection. Through self-review, I successfully found many problems in my article.
4. Revision
This is the closing paragraph of the thesis. I think I can expand and develop the closing paragraph of the thesis. So I modified the closing paragraph.
This part is the first paragraph of the main body of the thesis. I think I need a specific scenario to focus on. And here I chose to add a specific scene.
